Local turkeys are still available for your Thanksgiving dinner table

Do you have your turkey lined up for Thanksgiving? Our family will be enjoying a delicious local pasture raised heritage breed, courtesy of our Old Pine Farm CSA (community supported agriculture.) Not a member? Not to worry — The Farmer's Marketer has a list of some of the local farmers still offering local, cage free, pasture raised or organic turkeys.

In addition to the farms listed at The Farmer's Marketer's Ann Arbor Local Turkey Round-up, (Back Forty Acres, Dawn Farm, Fletcher Farm, and John Hanois), turkeys are available at Hillcrest Poultry and Old Pine Farm:
