Sacred Spaces: An Irish blessing from our home (and garden) to yours

May you always be blessed
with walls for the wind,
a roof for the rain,
a warm cup of tea by the fire,
laughter to cheer you,
those you love near you,
and all that your heart might desire.
(Irish blessing)

And for those of you at a loss for the perfect toast at your holiday gathering, might I suggest the following:

May those who love us love us
And those who don't love us
May God turn their hearts,
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.
—Irish Toast

There's nothing like a bit of humor to ring in the New Year.

Peace and joy to you and yours this day and always!
