Michigan to be featured in '60 minutes' segment on business of college football
Michigan's football program has turned out to be pretty good business.
Now, the Wolverines will be featured in a "60 Minutes" piece on that business.
The school announced on its website Friday that it will be involved in a 13-minute segment on the business of college football set to air at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
Athletic director Dave Brandon, football coach Brady Hoke, safety Jordan Kovacs and quarterback Denard Robinson were interviewed for the piece, according to the release. Alabama coach Nick Saban, who beat Michigan in September, and Towson University also will be featured.
CBS attended Michigan's game against the Crimson Tide, as well as home games against Air Force and Massachusetts. It also was granted access to a fall practice and youth day at Michigan Stadium.
