• Michigan freshman Caris LeVert will make his first career start in place of the injured Tim Hardaway Jr.
• Hardaway out on the court now, wearing a suit and a walking boot on his right foot. No crutches, no real limp -- doesn't look too bad. But, we'll see after the game.
• Pregame note, a significant one: Tim Hardaway Jr. will miss the first game of his career tonight due to an ankle injury. Michigan announced the news via Twitter less than an hour before tipoff.
Christmas is over, and Michigan gets back to work tonight.
The second-ranked Wolverines are looking to finish the non-conference portion of their 2012-13 schedule with a perfect 13-0 record when Central Michigan visits Crisler Center (7 p.m., Big Ten Network).
Only seven previous Michigan teams have ended a non-league schedule without a loss -- the last team to do so was the 1985-86 Big Ten title team, who went 13-0.
