ISSUE OF THE DAY
Michigan's 1988-89 club won a national championship -- but it didn't start the season 12-0.
The 2012-13 Wolverines have a chance to move to 12-0 tonight vs. Eastern Michigan, giving them the second-best start in school history. For the record, the 1985-86 team holds the program record of a 16-0 start.
Both Trey Burke and Jordan Morgan admitted on Wednesday that the longer this winning streak goes, the more pressure the team puts on itself to keep it going. Morgan said "at some point, you've got to embrace it."
The target on Michigan's back is bigger than its been in years, and the Wolverines are embracing that right now.
No one wants to lose, and this group wants to see just how long it can keep this winning streak going.
There are areas that need improving -- Nik Stauskas' turnovers, Mitch McGary's consistency and Max Bielfeldt's emergence.
But right now, Michigan's got a chance to make history once again -- not something you can say every day.
