DT recruit Henry Poggi, Michigan's biggest decommitment risk, offers reassurances via pajamas
It came in the form of onesie pajamas. Although unconventional, the Wolverines certainly will take it.
Four-star defensive tackle Henry Poggi, considered the biggest flight risk in Michigan's class, tweeted a photo of block 'M' pajamas to reaffirm his commitment to the Wolverines.
"Just threw a pair of these fresh pajamas on before bed, hoping that will put some of this speculation to rest #GoBlue" Poggi tweeted.
The Baltimore native is the second-best player in Michigan's class, according to Rivals, but visited Tuscaloosa, Ala. last weekend. The nature of the trip was unclear, but having Poggi on Alabama turf just days before letters of intent could be signed was cause for at least some trepidation.
Poggi went silent in the days following the trip, cause for further concern that Michigan could lose one of the centerpieces of its heralded 2013 class.
But it appears the Wolverines have their man.
Michigan now is expected to sign 21 players Wednesday, in addition to the six players already on campus.
With the biggest bit of drama already settled, it could turn out to be a relatively quiet signing day for the Wolverines. They surely wouldn't mind.
