Michigan sets NCAA football attendance record once again
Again.
The Wolverines averaged an NCAA-best 112,252 fans per game last season, according to the Associated Press. That not only led the country, but broke their own NCAA record from 2011.
That's consecutive attendance records to begin Brady Hoke's tenure at Michigan, and he hasn't disappointed the hometown fans. He is 13-0 at Michigan Stadium in his first two years as coach, the best home start to a coaching tenure at the school since Fielding Yost at the turn of the century.
Hoke's 13-game home win streak includes a 1-0 record against rivals Ohio State and Michigan State and memorable comebacks against Notre Dame, Northwestern and the Spartans.
Michigan now has led the country in attendance for 15 consecutive seasons.
