Public invited to attend planning meeting for Arbor Hills and Kilburn parks

Residents are invited to attend a meeting to discuss development plans for Arbor Hills and Kilburn parks on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

According to a City of Ann Arbor press release, city planners and park officials will be on hand to discuss the possibilities available to develop Arbor Hills into a mixed use park, and enhancing parts of Kilburn Park and long term plans for these two parks.

Some of the elements that will be covered are: - Sandbox in Kilburn Park to reduce mowing areas - Family oriented Project Grow community gardens in Arbor Hills Park - Asphalt play surface with a basketball hoop - Shade structure, Picnic Shelter in Kilburn Park - Picnic tables, benches, grills - Small play structure in Arbor Hills Park - Tree plantings

The meeting will be held in the Traverwood Library Branch program room.
