As the school year comes quickly to a close, the fifth graders at Thurston Elementary School proudly participated in the annual fifth grade musical on Thursday.

This year's musical, "The Adventures of Lewis and Clark," was a way for the students to demonstrate the skills they have been learning and practicing during music class all year. Yael Rothfeld, Thurston's music teacher, said this was a talented group of students with strong vocal skills who "love hamming it up on stage."
