Health clinics at Stone High School and Scarlett Middle School help kids learn about health

By Stefanie Murray

The health centers at Stone High School and Scarlett Middle School on Ann Arbor's South Side are profiled in a feature article by Casey Hans of the Ann Arbor Public Schools News Service this week.

The two clinics are operated by the University of Michigan Regional Alliance for Healthy Schools and offer treatment for illness, mental health, counseling and preventative care, as well as health education, according to the story. About 500 students and their families are seen each year at Scarlett and 200 students at Stone.

In addition to Stone and Scarlett, the health centers also serve Bryant, Carpenter, Mitchell and Pittsfield elementary schools.
