The Burns Park Players will be holding auditions for their 27th annual show on October 12 and 13, 2009 from 7-10pm at Tappan Auditorium. This year's production is Guys and Dolls. Mike Mosallam returns as director for the Players after several years in New York. He is considering a few twists to the stereotypical casting of this show, and has come up with ways to creatively incorporate the 60+ elementary school age thespians who annually make their voices heard during the larger production numbers. This year's production team is led by producers Sara Meingast, Debi Haller and Kathy Koehler. Auditions are open to any adult living within the boundaries of the Burns Park Elementary School.

Adults who are cast in the show or participate in technical aspects of the show can have their first through fifth grade children participate in grade level rehearsals and have small onstage roles. Children do not need to audition. Their participation is guaranteed if one of their parents is either on stage or behind the scenes.
