3 crashes snarl morning commute in Ann Arbor

Crashes were reported on westbound Interstate 94 at Michigan Avenue, on northbound U.S. 23 at Washtenaw Avenue and on northbound U.S. 23 north of Plymouth Road.

The crashes were all believed to have involved two vehicles, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said.

State police had arrived at the crash on 94 and the one at U.S. 23 and Washtenaw Avenue as of 8:05 a.m. Monday, the dispatcher said, but were still on the way to the crash at 23 north of Plymouth Road.
