It feels like fall around Ann Arbor today. And tonight, it's going to feel like winter.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning from midnight until 8 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures are expected to fall sharply tonight, with widespread frost developing after midnight.

The weather service says some areas will see temperatures in the upper 20s tonight - although areas with bodies of water could see only patchy frost.

Meteorologists say the freezing temperatures are expected to kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
