A simple swab on the inside of your cheek could help save an Ypsilanti woman's life.
The American Red Cross of Washtenaw County is holding bone marrow registry drive for Deb Horn who has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and a related condition called Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). Horn needs to find a matching bone marrow donor to successfully treat the disease.
The drive is set for Sunday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the American Red Cross office at 4624 Packard Road in Ann Arbor. To join the marrow registry you need only to be between the ages of 18 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need and meet the registry's health guidelines.

Thanks for posting this information. I had no idea that it has become so easy for someone to save another's life. With the newer technology today, the process to donating has become so easy. Deb's a friend of mine - I'll be there!
