Ann Arbor children share photos of their snow creations

By Kyle Mattson

The anticipated snow totals fell a bit short of originally anticipated, but it was enough to give most children a day off from school Friday giving them plenty of time for snowball fights, building snowmen and taking spills on the sledding hills around town.

There is a roller coaster forecast in store for the remainder of the week, but could the groundhog be right and we've seen the last of old man winter? Time will tell...

Hey, it's ALL good! anything that gets our youngsters off the couch and outside for some fresh air/exercise gets two thumbs up from me! Plus it encourages creativity, another good thing!

I neglected to comment, the snowmen submitted are all wonderful! And that's a wonderful pyramid. Good for those kids who got out and had a lot of fun!

Why only seven snowmen? Where are the kids? There should be 50, at least, snowmen submitted. Kids, get off the couch and outside for fun. Maybe they don't know how to play in the snow? do ya think?

I enjoyed the photos, especially the pink Patrick. Shouldn't Sponge Bob be yellow? Oh, wait, that wouldn't be cool.

Leave the artist to make it the way they he/she wants to make it! No one likes a armchair art critic. Have you made some snow art lately??
