The Ann Arbor Police Department saw a marked increase in several crime categories last week, handling a total of 61 cases in several categories.
That's up from 36 the week before.
Among the crimes:
- 16 retail frauds
- 14 larceny from a vehicle
- 10 home invasions
- 7 larceny (all other)
- 6 larceny from a building
- 4 vehicle thefts
- 1 robbery (strong-arm)
- 1 larceny from a coin machine
- 1 attempted burglary (non-residential)
- 1 assault with a firearm
