Ann Arbor in time lapse: University of Michigan graduate student showcases his college town

By Juliana Keeping

Time-lapse shots of nature, modern research buildings and familiar Ann Arbor scenes are set to music in a University of Michigan student's recent ode to his college town.

Seth McCubbin, a biomedical engineering graduate student research assistant, created the video prior to taking a trip to Japan so he could share scenes of his home of the last eight years. U-M posted on its Facebook page today.

Outstanding!! I am very impressed with this little video tribute to A2. (And a little jealous because I would have liked to have been its creator.) For sure, I'm sending the link to this video to my daughter who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area but pines for Ann Arbor. (By the way: she has an amazing resume as a grade school science teacher. And she will be available January 2012. ) Thanks Mr. McCubbin.

Fantastic! Something like this would be great to help promote businesses to the area showing the amenities and activities the city and area offer. SPARK - take notice.

Maybe the Hospital should have hired you to do their promotional shots tomorrow instead of 11 people from California.
