Ann Arbor Police investigate indecent exposure incident

By Heather Lockwood

Ann Arbor Police are investigating a report of indecent exposure in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Plymouth Road Tuesday afternoon.

Ann Arbor Police Lt. Renee Bush said a woman returned to her vehicle, which was parked in a lot near Rite Aid and a Chinese market, and noticed a man sitting in a car parked next to hers. Bush said the man allegedly "lifted his shirt, exposing his stomach. And (the woman) noticed he was not wearing pants and his genitals were exposed."

The woman reported the incident to police about 3:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-40s with a large belly. The suspect has short hair, no glasses and no facial hair. Height is unknown. The suspect vehicle is described as an older red car, about the size of a Honda Civic or smaller.

Odd that these incidents would continue into this time of year, what with the dangers of chapping and so forth.

We haven't heard of one these reports in awhile, I was wondering if the cold weather was causing these incidents to shrink.
