Ann Arbor under weather advisory; 3 to 5 inches of snow expected

Light to moderate snowfall will begin in Washtenaw County around noon and continue though the afternoon and overnight, the Weather Service said.

The storm will bring total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, the Weather Service said. Accumulations should total 1 to 3 inches during the afternoon and another 2 to 4 inches overnight.

Motorists can expect slick roads this afternoon and during the evening commute, and visibility could drop to less than a mile at times.

The high temperature is expected to be 27. Tonight, the low will fall to around 18 degrees with calm winds.
