Ann Arbor wing walker Todd Green lived large, friends, family members say

Friends and family of Ann Arbor wing walker Todd Green said he died doing what he loved, The Detroit News reported.

Green, 48, a noted aerial stuntman fell to his death during an air show Sunday at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The FAA is investigating.

At his memorial service in Manchester Thursday a pastor quoted gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson and friends remembered Green as a funny, fun-loving party boy, according to the article.

This so called journalism is just another example of why I will not be renewing my subscription to the paper copy of AA.Com when it runs out.

I thought AA.com was going to focus on local news? Here's a local person and yet all AA.com can do is just re-print a story from the Detroit News (and previous to that the AP)? Sad event and sad that AA.com writes a short report a few days ago and then moves on and doesn't follow up. I guess Manchester exceeded the travel budget or didn't qualify as 'local'?
