Ann Arbor woman treated for smoke inhalation following kitchen fire
An Ann Arbor woman suffered smoke inhalation during a kitchen fire at her home on Plainview Court Sunday evening, Ann Arbor fire officials said.
Firefighters were called to the home at about 7:30 p.m. and discovered a fire in the kitchen, a press release said.
The fire was quickly extinguished before it spread to the rest of the house, the release said. The home had minor smoke and water damage throughout.
The fire was apparently caused by unattended food left on the stove, the release said.
The woman was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for treatment. Her condition and age were not available this morning.
Damage was estimated at $5,000.

How about looking up where this fire was, and then looking up where Station 4 (one of the stations the city wants to close July 1st) is located. The last fire that was "quickly knocked down by firefighters" was in Station 3 area. Per Fraser, Station 3 & 4 would be closed. But no one speak out... I'm sure it'll never happen to you...
