AnnArbor.com CEO Matt Kraner to take new position as president of NJ.com
Matt Kraner, president and CEO of AnnArbor.com, announced on Monday that he’ll be leaving the Ann Arbor-based news website to take over a newly created position of president of NJ.com.
Kraner was instrumental in the startup of AnnArbor.com, which launched in July 2009. As of summer, it ranked among the top news sites nationally for local market reach, in conjunction with MLive, according to Media Audit, a company that measures media readership across the country.
NJ.com is operated as an entity of Advance Digital, a company that’s affiliated with the ownership of AnnArbor.com. It covers the entire state of New Jersey, which has a population of about 9 million.
Kraner will continue in his role at AnnArbor.com through mid-January.

Yay! I was *hoping* to see a fluff piece that overhyped the importance of the site owner's management team. My day is complete now.
