Bang-Up Euchre Tournament Fund Raiser for the Milan fair 2010 fireworks display

Milan residents came together in pairs to participate in the first-ever Bang-Up Euchre Tournament to raise funds for the Milan Fair 2010 fireworks display in June.
Teams played 10, 15-minute rounds with the winners receiving a prize of 60 percent of the total entry fees. Dino's Dugout Sports Bar and Grille also donated a percentage of the bar's daily beer and pizza sales to the fund.

Euchre is catching like wildfire out here in Seattle! Seeing as most post-secondary grads are leaving the Great Lake State, there is a venerable army of us Michiganders out here. A few of us started teaching our new friends this fantastic card game, and our students have already taught another crop of card enthusiasts. We had a mini-tournament at a local pub just last night, actually.
