Benefit to help with funeral expenses for homicide victim Dawn Fital

Friends and family members of Dawn Fital, a Pittsfield Township resident who was killed last month, are holding a benefit Saturday to help pay the bill for her funeral, the Daily Telegram in Adrian reported.

Fital, a championship pool player, was killed and her body was found in a suitcase in a pond near Hobart, Ind. Her boyfriend, Gregory Noack, was charged with murder in connection with her death.

Fital played pool frequently in Lenawee County, the newspaper said.

The benefit will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Adrian Eagles, 2570 W. Beecher St., the newspaper said. Items from various businesses and items donated by individuals will be auctioned off.
