By Lee Higgins

The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was called to the 1000 block of Hill Street in Ann Arbor this morning after a security guard found a suspicious object outside the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan police said.

The object, comprised of foil and wires, was found taped to the ground outside the school at 12:45 a.m., university police spokeswoman Diane Brown said.

The block was closed to traffic, but reopened at 2 a.m. after bomb squad investigators determined the object didn't pose a threat, police said.
