Beginning 7:30 a.m. Oct. 17, about a mile of Bethel Church Road between Alber and Parker roads west of Saline in Lodi Township will be closed at least four weeks for the reconstruction of a bridge.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission will be replacing a bridge over a creek.

A detour will be posted to direct traffic around the road closure. Motorists will be directed along Alber Road, Saline Waterworks Road and Park Road.

Those with properties along the closed portion of Bethel Church Road will be granted access.
