Calvary Christian Academy held its 2012 graduation ceremonies Friday, June 8, 7 p.m. at the Academy. The class had 13 graduates.

Matthew Tate Sanders
Parents: Gregg and Cheryl Sanders
Activities and Awards: Matthew was a member of the Michigan Christian Honor Society. Matthew was also elected class president his freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. He was the winner of the Rochester College Trustee Scholarship. Matthew was a four year member of the varsity baseball team and was chosen as team captain his junior and senior years. Matthew also played soccer his sophomore, junior, and senior years; and he also played basketball his junior and senior years. Matthew served as a teacher's aid his junior and senior years. He also ran the school's soundboard for chapel services.
Plans After Graduation: Matthew will be attending Rochester College, majoring in secondary education.
