Central Academy Top Scholars

Central Academy held its 2012 graduation ceremonies Wednesday, June 6, 5 p.m. at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris Lawrence Building. The class included 24 graduates.

Omar Hasan
Parents: Ismail and Nayibe Hasan
Activities and Awards: Omar was part of the National Society of high school scholars. He was on the varsity basketball team for all four years and the captain for the last two years. Omar is also an active member in the community.
Plans After Graduation: Omar will be attending the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology, majoring in movement science.

Fadel Nabilsi
Parents: Mamoon and Fayiza Nabilsi
Activities and Awards: Fadel was valedictorian and on the golden honor roll. He was an active student council member, and a member of the National Honor Society. Fadel also won second place in the NAAJA journalism contest.
Plans After Graduation: Fadel plans to attend the University of Michigan studying to become a pediatrician.
