chelsea update: Chelsea school board candidate forum set for Tuesday; 4 candidates running for 2 seats

Parents and students in the Chelsea School District can vet the four candidates running for two open school board seats in November at a "Meet the Candidates" forum Tuesday.

The forum will take place at 7 p.m. at the Washington Street Education Center and will last about an hour and a half, according to the Chelsea Update. The event will be hosted, facilitated and moderated by the Chelsea Education Foundation. The format will be a question-and-answer session, the Chelsea Update reported.

Incumbent and current board President Steve Olsen is running for re-election, and Kathy Keinath, Dana Emmert and Laura C. Bush also will seek one of the two, four-year positions.

School board Treasurer Jeff Crowder's term also is up, however, he is not running again.
