The 75th Anniversary of the Chelsea Community Fair began today and will run through Aug. 25 at the Chelsea Fair Grounds on Old US-12, just west of South Main Street.
The fair will include the usual staples such as tractor pulls, livestock judging, lumberjack shows and a nightly bingo tent. It also will feature a newly decorate hobby barn to commemorate the 75-year milestone, which is expected to draw at least 75,000 visitors throughout the week.
AnnArbor.com photographer Jeffrey Smith was there to capture the first day.
