Chelsea mourns Bob Daniels, community supporter and president of Chelsea Lumber
Bob Daniels, president of Chelsea Lumber and a major supporter of the Chelsea community, died Saturday, according to a report in Chelsea Update.
Daniels, 83, was a former village president among his long-time community activities, according to the report. The lifelong Chelsea resident is survived by his wife, Marjorie, and three children, John, Jeff and Jodi.
Funeral services will be handled by Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea. According to its webpage, a private family service will be held for Daniels, followed by a public memorial that hasn't yet been scheduled.

Such sad, sad news. Bob Daniels was an extraordinary man. Principled, kind, funny, strong. A giver, not a taker. Rest in peace, Bob. My condolences to the family and his business partners.
