The Chelsea Police Department is looking for a missing 15-year-old girl described as “endangered.”

The girl might be walking on foot and wearing pajamas, according to an alert issued by Chelsea police at 12:10 p.m. Monday.

She has blue eyes and a blue streak in her hair and is about 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, the alert said.

It was not clear when the girl was reported missing or where she was last seen.

Anyone with any information concerning her whereabouts is urged to contact the Chelsea Police Department at (734) 475-9122, ext. 0.

I saw a lot of young-looking girls today on the U of M campus, some in fact wearing pajamas and nearly all of them walking on foot. Anything else here?

No name? No photo? Awesome.

A photo could be helpful -- but this is a minor and we don't know exactly what "endangered" means. So a photo could also cause a problem for several reasons. As could releasing details of where or when she was last seen. I do think knowing what color the pajamas are would be useful. I hope she is found quickly.

As a minor, the parents I believe have to sign off on releasing any information
