The Chelsea Community Hospital is holding its first Mom 2 Mom Sale on May 12 with proceeds benefiting the hospital's Children’s Center.

The center provides child care for infants through fifth grade for Chelsea and the surrounding communities.

The sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ located at 14600 Old US 12.

A Mom 2 Mom Sale is similar to a garage sale or flea market, but sells only children’s and maternity items such as children’s clothing, toys, books, furniture, gear and maternity clothing.

The sale will be “boutique style,” making it easy for customers to check out all their items at once when they are finished shopping.
