Chelsea DDA to hold first recorded meeting a new location Thursday
The Chelsea Downtown Development Authority's will meet in its new location and under the watchful eye of the camera Thursday.
The meeting, the first of 2011, will be taped for showing on local cable Channel 18. It will be in the McKune Room of the Chelsea District Library, 221 S. Main St. It starts at 7:30 a.m.
On the agenda is a discussion of the details of the Deardorff/Poley downtown development plan.
The DDA hired the firm in December at a cost not to exceed $50,000 to assist the group with developing a vision for Chelsea's downtown. The process will include a number of meetings for resident input.
The plan is among a list of current projects for this year.
The DDA voted last year to move its meetings to the library and have them recorded.
