Werkner Road paving to begin Monday in Sylvan and Lyndon townships
If you travel on Werkner Road in Sylvan and Lyndon townships, you might want to find an alternate route beginning Monday.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission expects to begin paving the section from M-52 to the Western Washtenaw Recycling Center, a roughly three-quarter mile stretch, on Monday. The work is expected to take about five days, depending on the weather.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane during the daytime with flagmen controlling traffic.
The Road Commission says drivers should be aware of delays and that all dates are tentative, subject to weather conditions.
