Want to learn more about local food and why it’s good for you?

Chelsea’s Silver Maples will host 'Food Glorious Food,' along with representatives from Chelsea Community Kitchen, Chelsea Farmer’s Market, Lunasa Market, Bushel Basket Farmer’s Market, Back Forty Acres and Slow Food Huron Valley.

Each will have samples, food for sale and answer questions about the importance of supporting local food sources.

The event takes place Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Silver Maples, 100 Silver Maples Dr.
