From more environmentally-sustainable street lights to the state's Renewable Portfolio Standard, clean energy issues will be highlighted at an Ann Arbor forum on Tuesday evening.
The event will feature Ann Arbor Mayor John Hieftje and state representative Rebekah Warren, D-Ann Arbor, among others, to discuss local and state energy policy.
The event is free and open to the public.
It is being sponsored by the University of Michigan Student Assembly's Environmental Issues Commission and local volunteers from Focus the Nation.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room D on the third floor of the U-M's Michigan League.
