For 27 years, The Original Cottage Inn Pizza on William Street in downtown Ann Arbor has opened its doors to the less fortunate on Thanksgiving.

Using some 150 volunteers, they serve 350-plus meals on Thanksgiving each year.

Thank you to all volunteers that provided free meals on Thanksgiving! At least three in Ypsilanti were:

Holy Trinity Student Parish.

New Testament Baptist Church on Michigan Avenue.

Bill Riney's meals-on-wheels made stops in several locations.

What a kind, generous and wonderful thing for Cottage Inn to do! Bless the hearts of the Cottage Inn staff and the volunteers for making Thanksgiving warm and special for those who might have otherwise been cold and hungry.
