Crash backs up traffic on M-14 east of Ann Arbor
A crash was causing a traffic backup on M-14 east of Ann Arbor Thursday morning.
The crash was on the eastbound side of M-14 west of Gotfredson Road. The right lane of the freeway had been blocked by the crash, but it was opened shortly before 8 a.m., a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department said.
The dispatcher said she did not have information about the vehicle or vehicles involved in the crash, but media reports indicated it was a jackknifed semi tractor-trailer rig.
A Google traffic map indicates a lengthy traffic backup in the area.

In regards to Billy's comments, it is amazing how many drivers are either completely oblivious to the lane merging signs at the end of N. Main onto the entry ramp or in some cases they are trying to race to the front of the line of traffic on the right

It was an apple truck apparently.

Looks like there's also an accident right where Main St. enters eastbound 14 too. Someone smacked the wall or something.....again...

If that was around 11:30 I saw that one happen after the fact. If I had been there 5 minutes earlier a school bus would have been involved as well. Scaring the pants off my family. That intersection is scary.
