Crash backs up traffic on U.S. 23 in Ann Arbor
By Cindy Heflin
A crash was causing a long traffic backup Wednesday afternoon on southbound U.S. 23 near Geddes Road on the east side of Ann Arbor.
Michigan State Police were on the way to the crash at 4:43 p.m., a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County sheriff’s department said.
A Google map showed a freeway backup almost to M-14.
No further information was immediately available.
Traffic backups are shown in black, red and yellow.

@ Cindy.....am I wrong, or is there a crash on that I-23 stretch from Geddes-through M-14-and back on I-23 N. every single week day......that's frustrating and scary !

Definitely an everyday occurrence. I'm glad I don't have to drive on 23 to get to work every day. My route is on secondary roads, which are better in terms of crashes.
