Just because you own a Prius does not mean you can stop on ice either.

Or realize that no matter how much you salt or plow roads a better idea is SLOW DOWN. Just because you have a four wheel drive or large truck does not mean you can stop on ice.

The State and Counties and Cities such as A2 need to find more money for salting and clearing of these icy roads. Where is the stimulus money that was supposed to provide jobs and help during poor economic times? How many people will die or be injured on the roads due to budget cuts? What will happen to insurance costs? If things are so bad, then forget the sculptures in front of buildings, forget the new buildings, and use the $$$$$$$ for safety. If banks could get billions in bailouts, surely the Feds can help the states and local municipalities with these important safety issues! Or has life here become cheaper? I can't help but think of that poor man near Jackson who was killed recently due to icy roads. Wasn't he as important as banker's salaries???
