Crash slows traffic on southbound U.S. 23 north of Ann Arbor

By Cindy Heflin

A crash was slowing the morning commute on U.S. 23 north of Ann Arbor Monday morning.

The crash was on southbound U.S. 23 near North Territorial Road. It was not blocking traffic and was on the median side of the freeway, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said just before 7:30 a.m.

A Google traffic map indicated traffic had been slowed on the southbound side of the freeway.

Further information was not immediately available.

US-23 needs to be widened. Too much traffic for only 2 lanes each way.
