Crashes slow traffic on M-14 and US-23, but dispatchers say morning commute isn't bad
Note: The location of one of the crashes has been corrected in the headline and story.
Travel is slow this morning, and crashes are impacting a few roadways, Washtenaw County dispatchers say.
A crash on eastbound M-14 at Barton Drive has been cleared up, a sheriff's department dispatcher said. Police were responding at 8:10 a.m. to a crash in the median on northbound US-23 near Carpenter Road.
But other than that, dispatchers say, the morning commute isn't looking too bad.

"Not too bad"?? Compared to what?? I almost didn't get out of my sub! I spent a little over an hour driving through several inches of snow because of un-plowed roads. Even the main roads were horrible! I was shaking for nearly an hour after I finally got to work! I don't want to know what "bad" is!

And yet again the a2news takes what someone says as fact. Did you go out and drive on any of the streets or side streets???????

I can believe that the morning commute "isn't looking too bad." No one in my subdivision can get out!

Wait a minute here! I-94 doesn't intersect Barton Drive! So was the crash at M-14 and Barton Drive? Or was it on I-94 at some other location? US-23 near Carpenter Road--did that crash happen in Milan? US-23 and Carpenter Road do intersect in Milan, but are parallel to each other until Washtenaw Ave. You guys really need to be more specific.
