City of Ann Arbor road crews continue to work to repair a water main break that occurred Monday afternoon on Geddes Road on the east side of Ann Arbor.

Geddes remains closed Tuesday from Huron Parkway to Earhart Road and traffic will continue to be rerouted until repairs are complete.

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.

City of Ann Arbor spokeswoman Lisa Wondrash said at noon Tuesday that she did not know what caused the break.

All area residents have water at this time. If water has to be shut off during the repair process affected residents would be notified, Wondrash said Monday.
