2 men arrested with items reported stolen from Pittsfield Township home, police searching for third suspect
Pittsfield Township police said they arrested two Ypsilanti men and are looking for a third suspect after the two were found with stolen items from a woman’s Crystal Drive home.
The home invasion was reported at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday at the home in the 2400 block of Crystal Drive, police said. A woman returned to the home and saw three men running away from the home and she immediately called 911 to report the incident, police said.
The woman and a neighbor provided a description to police and two of the men were apprehended shortly after officers responded to the area, according to police.
The two men had money, a flat screen TV, clothing and jewelry that were reported stolen from the home, police reported. They were placed into custody, but police are not releasing their names because they have not been formally charged with a crime.
The third suspect is only described as a 19 or 20-year-old man, police said.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call Pittsfield Township police at 734-944-4911.

It's so sad to see the younger generation thinking its okay to get by in life by robbing, killing, or doing whatever.... :( I am 20 years old and I just could never imagine robbing someone or killing someone just for the hell of it... I am so glad this woman was not home at the time, and she was okay!

caitlyn, it is young people like you who give me hope for the future. don't ever give up on your principles because at the end of the day, it's all you can call your own.

This is not a generational issue - its a social economic issue. Unfortunately some people grow up in communities where this kind of activity is a part of life and they have never been taught otherwise. Others grow up in communities where ethics, education and behavior are held at a higher standard. These social divides and issues have been around as long as mankind itself.

It's the new "entitlement Generation". And it's only going to get worse.
