Police said surveillance cameras captured Price walking through the Arctic Edge Ice Area on Aug. 3 and attempting to steal a woman's purse. After a slight struggle, he ran out of the building.

With the help of several tips called in to the Canton Police Department, detectives identified Price, a news release said.

Bond was set at 10 percent of $30,000. Price's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 21.
