Man struck by chair thrown by someone outside an Ann Arbor house party

By Kyle Feldscher

A 20-year-old Ann Arbor man was crossing names off a guest list outside a party early Saturday when he was struck by a chair thrown by someone in the crowd, Ann Arbor police said.

Lt. Renee Bush said the incident occurred at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday outside a party in the 1900 block of Geddes Road. She said the victim was standing at the door of the home crossing names off the list when a chair thrown by someone in line struck him.

The victim said he didn’t see who threw the chair because of the number of people in line, according to police.

The victim suffered a cut above his left eye and was taken to the University of Michigan Hospital’s emergency room for treatment, Bush said.

Police said witnesses at the scene described the man who threw the chair as white, in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds and was wearing a black North Face jacket.

That's what you get for inviting The Rock to your party. Also, least helpful description ever. That only fits, what, 75% of the population?
