Ann Arbor police searching for man who broke into screened-in porch

By Kyle Feldscher

Ann Arbor police are looking for a man who broke into the screened-in back porch of a woman’s home early Saturday morning.

Detective Lt. Robert Pfannes said someone rang the door bell at 2 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 400 block of South Fourth Avenue. The woman took a few minutes to walk downstairs in order to answer the door.

Pfannes said the woman entered her kitchen and saw a man in the screened-in back porch going through items. The man looked up, saw the woman and ran away from the area.

The man is described as black, in his mid 30s, 5-feet-8 inches tall, medium build, wearing an “expensive looking” three-quarters length black parka with the hood up, Pfannes said.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).

"The woman took a few minutes to walk downstairs in order to answer the door [at 2AM]."--- Obviously, the victim never took time to watch the YouTube video entitled: "Massad Ayoob Don't Answer The Door" Now all they can do is wait for the police to find the perpetrator... who fled in an unknown direction on their way to the town known as, "Anybody's Guess."

If I had been HER I am sure it would of scared me to death! Seeing a shadow of ANYONE in your home at that hour had to be horrid. Of course my German Shepard would of scared the shadow man to death too. :-) another reason to own a dog!
