Numerous items were stolen in a break-in Friday evening on McCartney Avenue in Ypsilanti Township, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department.

Among the items taken: A laptop computer, GPS, digital camera, video camera, MP3 player, fireproof safe containing jewelry, savings bonds, passports, money and other documents.

Entry was gained through the sliding glass door.
