Burglary in Superior Township under investigation
By Lee Higgins
A CD player was taken during a burglary reported Saturday night on MacArthur Boulevard in Superior Township, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.
The break-in in the road's 9200 block was reported about 8 p.m., a sheriff's department e-mail alert said. Entry was made though a sliding glass door.
Deputies do not have any suspects.

"in the road's 9200 block"? They stole it on the road? I bet you mean "in the 9200 block of MacArthur Blvd"... I've read several of your articles, Mr. Higgins. Follow you a little because we share the same heritage, maybe are distant relatives. The Irish are known for their facility with words. I'm surprised with the AnnArbor.com version of the news that those in the business of writing show so little regard for the English language. Even if you cover crime, please communicate the facts of the story in language that is readable. Seems you got this from a Washtenaw County Sherriff's email. Even if they used awkward and ambiguous language, don't let it corrupt what you know is right. It might obscure the facts. Sheesh! Some of our kids might be reading.

I didn't realize CD players were still valuable enough to be worth stealing!
